Through this partnership, NVCC will support Churches in Mission providing much-needed services to the residents of Martinsville and Morgan County.
Churches in Mission started with three ministers from Mooresville that wanted to be more effective in helping those people in need in the community. Now for over 36 years, Churches in Mission continues to provide the necessities for daily living to the people of Morgan County who struggle with the challenges of poverty while sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Churches in Mission has two locations, Martinsville and Mooresville, providing a number of services including but not limited to: food, clothing, shoes, hygiene products, blankets, cooking supplies, health care services, rent and utility assistance, education programing, and Christmas assistance.

HOW WE ARE HELPING
Every Christian is called to serve. This partnership gives our church members the opportunity to serve others through donations and volunteering. NVCC will focus our efforts on collecting and donating hygiene products to the Martinsville location.

- Toilet Paper
- Shampoo and Conditioner
- Body Wash
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Disposable Razors
- Bath Soap
- Laundry Detergent
- Diapers (child and adult sizes)
- Feminine Hygiene Products
A collection box has been placed in the side lobby where you can donate hygiene products.
Other items like blankets, bed sheet sets, towels, cooking utensils, dishes, clothing, and non-perishable food can also be donated.
